It's funny you'll have the same crop of fighters mentioning their own names between themselves but somehow Errol Spence Jr. isn't in those conversations. Everyone knows who the true boogeyman at 147 is.

Crawford is a machine. He will study opponents and take his time in the ring and adjust to what they are doing. He can out box most anyone. The only real question is what power does he bring from the lower divisions. He needs to have enough pop in his punches to keep these naturally stronger guys off of him. Any of the four top 147 fighters will walk right through even the best boxer if they can't hurt them. We need to see a Horn stoppage, not just a clean win. Horn will be easy to find and will not be able to avoid all the angles Crawford brings with his offense. So if he can't drop a Horn, how will he compete with Spence or Thurman or Porter?

With that said, he hasnt seen the likes of a Thurman or a Crawford, a style thats not stationary. Spence relies on opponents being "right there" with back & forth blow for blow action, with his opponents either "trying" to get to him or taking most of the heavy leather.
I don't consider him a hypejob, but he sure hasnt seen enough different looks for he himself to crack. SRLeonard, Mayweather or even Tommy Hearns wouldve had him faaar out of his usual comfort zone and it wouldve been interesting to see how he wouldve adjusted.
