LOL Usyk ain't knocking Gassiev out, his path to victory is a decision. Good luck getting that in Russia!

It has to be neutral territory, Whether Saudi-Assrapia or somewhere less smelly and ********* funding.

Pretty sure I read this exact article months back, or are Russia now making ANOTHER strong push for it to take place in Russia?

Judging in Russia has been just fine and plenty of Ukranians fight there. Far worse calls are made far more frequently every week in the UK and the United States.

True, but the magnitude of this fight means it should be in neutral territory, anything else is unacceptable and unfair.

Amen. Preach on, the choir is listening. NEED this televised. Those of us who want to watch it will seek it out. But the general boxing fan and casual public need to see this war. These 2 men are among the most talented in the sport and deserve this to be shown to as many eyeballs as possible.

I have no doubts Ultimate Road Warrior Usyk would fight there no problems but i doubt Sanchez and his team would allow it!

Have the fight in NYC or Zanzibar or even Abu Dhabi!

It's a legacy defining fight, make it fair all around!
You and every other poster have valid points. But money talks, and this had to be a really expensive tournament to put on. Throw in the fact the 168 tournament has nowhere near the buzz, and I can see the organizers jumping at the dollars.

Can't stand that we may have to wait longer for this potential all time great match up. Just bums me out.

Sanchez? Why not? Doesn't he train Usyk's opponent, the Russian? Maybe you meant someone else.

Plus, Sanchez is a slimey piece of dirt, anyway.

Usyk went to Poland to beat Glowacki and has fought the two fights in this tournament on the road already. He's fine travelling.
