If that happens, Usyk would literally be fighting Gassiev, the ref, judges, drug tests, and the country!

If Usyk beats Gassiev with all of those conditions then he's p4p #2 IMO

You and every other poster have valid points. But money talks, and this had to be a really expensive tournament to put on. Throw in the fact the 168 tournament has nowhere near the buzz, and I can see the organizers jumping at the dollars.

Hopefully Team Usyk stands for what's right but I'm sure if Mother Russia is footing all of the bills then Team Usky will be gladly disadvantaged if they're being very well compensated for their gamble!

I so wish. I would take vacation and fly to Vegas for that. It would scratch off a bucket list item- go see a prize fight in Vegas- in huge fashion.
