nah, the real reason why he will not fight anyone with a pulse in May..... is the exact same reason why he has NEVER fought anyone with a pulse

how much money does he want ?

Golovkin is supposed to be the man at 160..... and yet he is attempting to make his mandatory Derevyanchenko wait for another year, and make Saunders wait for another 18 months..... which is beyond ridiculous

how absurd..... when it came to Ward, Golovkin fans used to say that if you were not willing to fight IMMEDIATELY, then you were chicken LOL..... my how times have changed

why is it unthinkable for the supposed man at 160 to fight mid-level contenders?..... especially if one of those guys happens to be his mandatory..... Canelo is not a belt-holder, that fight is irrelevant in "the grand scheme of things"..... why should fight fans care about Golovkin's money, he just made 15mil

the guy is supposed to be this feared killer, and he will have a full camp under his belt by May 5th..... and yet, he cannot fight a mid-level contender because it would be too "risky"?

when has he ever taken a risk ?

can he beat those mid-level/unproven guys, or what ?..... that is the only question that will come from Golovkin fighting yet another tomato-can in May

      for the record.....

Team Bullshht said GGG would fight " anyone from 154-168 "

and they said that nobody at 160 goes 12 with Golovkin

but now, they are saying that mid-level contenders are "too risky"

someone has been writing cheques with his mouth, that he cannot cash with his fists, for a long time lol

Probably more than he was supposed to earn against Andrade and too much for a $1 million dollar total fighter purse for the event.

We do know HBO's budget was only 1 million dollars. We do know Sergei D turned down 250k for Andrade but accepted 400k for Andrade previously. We do know it would make no sense for him to take less than that to fight a more significant opponent. We also do know that as a mandatory Sergei D is guaranteed a title shot eventually so is under no pressure to accept chump change for a short notice fight.

No I don't know exactly what Sergei D demanded. We just know it was more than the fight budget could fit.

I usually think DiBella gives some of he best interviews and has some of the best takes in the game

                  But this is Bullsh.it

He had no problem entertaining the idea of Prograis having a fight in between his Mando shot at Ramirez but wants to force the issue in this

Devechenko maybe the goods but his last fight was a guy 22w and 22lLhe has no buzz and HBO has shown they don’t want to pony up any cash for a May 5th fight

Why would Gennady & Tom pursue a tough fight for no $

And why would the IBF want to strip Gennady now when there’s either a huge $ fight against Canelo and a good sized sanctioning fee or a historic Saunders fight for all the straps next

If Devechenko gets the strap he’ll most likely fight on a undercard for no $ and a sh.it sanctioning fee

I get enforcing the rules but right now isn’t the time to do it

If GGG got even less of the cut, he might actively lose money.
These bozos think promotion, security, transport, training, cutmen and so on and so on are free.

All his detractors just want to see him lose and know the chance of it happening against O Sullivan or Vanes or another similar opponent is slim to none

They want to use bizzaro logic and put the blame on him for his opponent testing dirty and now on short notice he has to fight the toughest challenge there is for no $

And itd bring these guys most joy if it was against a fighter with no buzz in what now is a stay busy fight for no cash to back up their claims that Gennady was never sh.it

I actually find it funny how much they hate him and as we’ve seen when he fought Wade even the people who hate him will tune into watch him fight May 5th

There’s valid points to make about his resume like almost every fighter but people go overboard.
