Lara is too small for 160, IMO. And although I would enjoy a Hurd rematch, I tend to agree with the guys who think Hurd would win easier next time. I’m just hoping I’m wrong.

Well, that why they have the fights. One of us is wrong about J-Rock. Maybe it's me, maybe I'm just holding a grudge that I wasted a good chunk of my afternoon watching him slog through a very ugly win.

It wasn’t a decisive win, but wasn’t a controversial decision either. I think Lara probably gets stopped in a rematch. But hey, since Jermell Charlo decided to go and book a pointless fight against Trout, a Hurd-Lara rematch wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.

well it's the FOTY so far so who can really argue against a rematch? were you not entertained?

Lara is a real one. He wants to jump right back in the blender. No tune up or nothing.

          Salute Lara.

But I agree that Charlo / Hurd is first priority doe. Austin Trout can spoil it though let's not forget he arguably beat the other brother already.

It was a non controversial Split one Point decision. All the greats give rematches when they get a really close one.

And what make you think Hurd will stopped Lara he couldn't do it the first fight and Lara got caught with a lot more powerful shoots than that weak punch in the knockdown and didn't even flinch.

History will tell that the boxer vs the bigger less talented come forward opponent will adjust and it will actually be either an easy win or a stoppage the other way around.

            Remember Maidana/Castillo Mayweather second fight?

            Kovalev Ward second fight.

            Williams Martínez second fight

            Even Vanes Lara second fight.

Hurd got no adjustments to make

Just wait and see If this Hurd guy even bothers to respond and accept the challenge I highly doubt it though.
Immediately after the fight he said that he had no plans to rematch him and I understand. Hurd has a damaging style and won't last forever; he needs to cash out while he can. Becoming undisputed then going to MW is probably the best route for the guy and the win was clear enough that a rematch isn't warranted.

I thought Kara fought a great fight and thought he should've won had he not gotten dropped in the 12th.having said that, I don't think he can physically go to that place again where he's going to have to dig deep to survive the constant pressure. It'd be like the arguello vs Pryor rematch.

Tired of Lara, seriously. Tough titty, bro.

He always plays it safe and doesn't do enough in his big fights, then cries robbery when he doesn't get the nod. However, he made this fight more entertaining than most predicted because he didn't use the ring like he does in most fights.

I'm just tired of him not closing the show, then crying robbery. Hasn't he learned by now, the judges don't give a ****? He'll never get the nod, ever. Get over it, dude.

Nothing wrong with what Lara is saying here imo. I hope he gets the fights he wants before hanging up the gloves
