I wasn’t aware that the B-sides were supposed to make the offers now

Thanks for letting me know how the business works Tim Bit

      • Funny how they give Wilder 48 hrs and gave Joseph weeks to negotiate. Enough said.

        • People would say that A.J. wouldn't take $12.5m for the rematch (£8.8m) and the truth is he probably wouldn't but Wilder must take this still massive money fight to move on and should he win then how much do you think Hearn would offer to get the belts back
Don't let them do a runner Wilder you may never get another chance as good!

Yeah, I don’t remember which fight it was, but I remember watching one of his older fights and thinking “when did dude get the tats?”

              • So just to confirm, this offer says 12.5 mil, but nothing else? No date, location, time, just a number on a napkin and people would just sign that?

                • Its not a 100 million fight , % are off the profit not the gross etc etc etc

I hope Wilders not using his fan boys for accountants or we have no chance of a fight

They only have 30 days to make the fight, probably way less given they have to negotiate the other one say 15 days each some of which are already used up.

Parker did not £13 million from the fight and the Telegraph source itself seems a bit iffy as several other sources state £8 million, worked out from the total purse being £24 million, hence 33% of that.

£8 mill works out to $11.35, Wilder will be getting paid $12.2, so he will be getting more than Parker.

Wilder has gotten a huge offer and he either accepts it and makes a name for himself or stays ducking.
It seems like you can't read, doesn't really surprise me. The article says he was offered a flat fee for the fight, which means it will not include any revenue split. I just don't know how you don't understand that. Parkers offer was a percentage of revenue, a little over 30%, guarantee of 8million pounds. It was estimated that after everything, Parker would earn about 13million pounds. AJ vs Wilder will more than likely make twice the money the Parker fight made, that being said a little over 30% will be more than what Parker wound up earning. Now again, Wilder is not being offered a percentage, he is being offered a flat fee, it's not a minimum guarantee. Flat fee means no revenue split. Minimum guarantee is offered based on purse split, which often includes a percentage of revenue. Fighters secure a minimum offer in case the fight doesn't perform as well as expected. Why don't you go out and get more educated instead of ducking knowledge.
