And, to the goofs who keep wanting to repeat "it's 5x what he ever made!", you don't understand money. There is a synergy when you have a hot ticket like this for sale. The two of them together are worth FAR more than they are apart. Hearn makes much, much more having AJ fight Wilder than he does Parker, Takam, etc.

To hold Wilder to previous salaries is NOT how it works in a business like this. You guys want to compare it to your day jobs because that's all you know. Wilder isn't showing paystubs from previous fights. This is all about the money THIS fight will generate so try to integrate that into your narrow field of vision.

Yeah this the main reason I think its nonsense. Wilder could just sit on his ass and collect his cheque when it flops. No way they make an offer without incentives, espescially with how much promotion it needs stateside

it's a lot of money but if he's only offered a flat offer and no percentage that's a bully move, give him the option of a % predicted to be worse or the flat fee. Al Haymon will have Wilder's back though so I don't think he'll let him get played.

parker got 33% which I think he took home like 10-13 mil. how much had he made in his biggest pay day in prior fights? 12% is terrible! we may never see this fight. to offer Parker 33% and wilder only 12% is pathetic. at least start off at 20% lmao 12?????

That is the perfect response. I'd bet Wilder would feel that way but whether his backers feel the same I'm not so sure.

It maybe an opening shot from Hearn. Maybe the final deal will look a little different.

If this is true then Hearn is not serious about making this fight.

Then again, Wilder said he doesn't care about the money.

Let's wait for the official info.

Yeah. Haymon ain't going to allow him to take that offer. Dibella wont either. Unless they feel wilder loses then they might.
