No fighter should ever take a flat fee-ever! Especially when a fight is on ppv. I trust Al Haymon will get Wilder a good deal. If he says take the offer then Al knows what he’s doing. If he says no flat fee then no flat fee.Comment

Wilder has sold zero ppv in his country or abroad...
He's earning 2.5 mil...
Manny earned more than half of the flat fee Floyd said...
Wilder last purse is 5 times less than the offer from Hearn.
Wilder wants to really fight Adam Whoda****areyoucki. His Al Haymon puppetComment

Wilder needs to stick to his 40% Demand of all Generated income.
Wilder is the only fighter who can bring PPV with Showtime which could bring 500,000 PPV Sales in America due to the Huge Significance of the fight and the fact it would be crowning an Undisputed Heavyweight Champion.
That's $40 Million right there and once Showtime and PPV Providers take their chunk, thats around $20 Million left over.
Add to that it would do record numbers for British PPV and Gate Receipts plus International Broadcast Fee's, Merchandise, Sponsorships and Advertising.
All Together that's at least $150 Million in Generated income and around $75 Million in Profits.
$12.5 Million of that is Pathetic!
$25 Million Flat Fee would be Fair but NO REMATCH CLAUSE for that.you are pathetic

12.5 mil is 5 times his last payday.
Manny was guaranteed 25 mil vs algieri (fight before mayweather) . 40 mil wasn't even double that figure...
The offers are not alike at all because of the difference it was from their last payday.
Wilder can fight Adam Whoda****areyoucki and earn 2.5 mil if he wants.
If it was ok for Manny to turn down a flat fee, the same should apply to Wilder.Comment

Of course it's mainly about the money for both AJ and Wilder. They fight for a living and this is a gigantic fight so they both want a gigantic paycheck. A flat fee is BS for this fight. Give Wilder the same 35% split that Parker got and he will make much more money than 12.5 million.Comment

20-40 mill is a big difference compared to 2-12..... wouldnt you say
it was ok for pac to turn it down but not wilder? Also the complaint about turning it down was NOT about how much he was getting it was mainly that he's getting no % from the fight which is pretty much the argument some have here....
so you cant have it both ways for yourself he either deserves more $ and/or ppv % or he can walk from it.... just like ya stated for the pac/floyd fiascoLast edited by bigjavi973; 04-10-2018, 01:45 PM.Comment
