I thought wilder fans said its not about the money, they want to be undisputed. The offer is a pretty good one. Grab it brother.

It's 6x Wilder's highest purse so in theory what would and should Joshua get? 6x more than $17-18m?

Not sure how much this fight generates. Probably something like Joshua-Klit? It will be PPV in UK but it will be regular lunchtime Showtime here.

Funny, here's what Marquez said about GB offering GG a flat fee
"They are really punishing Gennady Golovkin [by offering a flat fee] .... because it's just a way to avoid to Golovkin, it's a way of saying we do not want the fight."

For a fight this huge I think it's a poor offer. AJ would probably make more than three times that much. If they gave Wilder the same 35% that Parker got he would make much more than that.

What an embarrassing offer. Similar to the Canelo GGG offer of the first fight.

Wilder doesn't deserve 50-50, or even 60-40 for that matter. But What's wrong with a 70-30? Or something around there. This is basically a less 20%. 70-30 would be fair, even a 65-35.

Lineage can be screwed up and isn't always the true champion. For example Castielljo was clearly inferior to Reid, Vargas and especially Trinidad and only a moron would say he was better and the champ at that time. The lineal had died and then all of a sudden Terry Norris was lineal. How did Norris become lineal when the title had been vacated by Hearns years prior?
Fury will still be the lineal champion. The winner of Joshua Wilder will be the undislputed hvw champion.
Until Fury gets himself together he won’t be called the champion.

I just read AJ made $28.1 million vs Parker. Jeeez.. A damn jab/feint fest, zero damage and comes out with a bag like that. you gotta salute his handlers on that.

You posted Manny should turn it down and wait for a better offer. Here you want wilder to just take it.

Sorry dude but you are extremely hypocritical on this and its fair that I point it out.

Doesn't really matter. Can't change history so no need to ruin the thread over it.
12.5 mil is 5 times his last payday.

Manny was guaranteed 25 mil vs algieri (fight before mayweather) . 40 mil wasn't even double that figure...

The offers are not alike at all because of the difference it was from their last payday.

Wilder can fight Adam Whoda****areyoucki and earn 2.5 mil if he wants.

                    • Wilder needs to stick to his 40% Demand of all Generated income.

Wilder is the only fighter who can bring PPV with Showtime which could bring 500,000 PPV Sales in America due to the Huge Significance of the fight and the fact it would be crowning an Undisputed Heavyweight Champion.

That's $40 Million right there and once Showtime and PPV Providers take their chunk, thats around $20 Million left over.

Add to that it would do record numbers for British PPV and Gate Receipts plus International Broadcast Fee's, Merchandise, Sponsorships and Advertising.

All Together that's at least $150 Million in Generated income and around $75 Million in Profits.

$12.5 Million of that is Pathetic!

$25 Million Flat Fee would be Fair but NO REMATCH CLAUSE for that.
