Here is the full offer to Wilder:
"Take it or leave it $12.5 million flat fee - no date, no venue, no statement on whether it is the next fight.
Rematch clause in place with a discussion of 50/50 split whether or not AJ loses."
How can anybody who is sincere say that this makes any sense? Come on. So, AJ still wants a 50/50 split even if he loses? Wow...
If I am Wilder, here will be my counter:
I'll take the $12.5 million flat fee provided these 2 conditions are met: AJ takes the same in the rematch and the fight is the NEXT fight.
I think that is only fair and calls their bluff. This is a fight worth probably between $100 million to $150 million depending on the US PPV.
If AJ does not like Wilder's counter, then I will take $12.5 million and NO REMATCH + AJ does not fight for no belts until at least 5 more fights if AJ loses.
