So the minute Winky begins to move, duck, dodge, and just throw jabs he somehow becomes a coward? Some people fight their entire careers like that. Wright moved in and ****** away which is shocking to a lot of people. People got spoiled by the first half of the fight by seeing what kind of action was made by Wright's gameplan in this fight.

Apparently it was supposed to be a brawl and you can no longer be awarded points for strictly outboxing your opponents.... shame on us purists... for shame....

On the other hand, i useed to think Taylor was too mechanical and not a pure fighter, but he showed me something tonight. Also, his interview with Larry secured my belief that he is a good champ and a decent fellow.
Wright as seemed very vain in recent years and it has been a big turnoff. It's like he thinks he's the Puff Daddy of boxing.

yeah man that honeslty was really wack it always sways in the decition of the champion......... **** man he should have won that fight. But i have no idea why he doen't want a rematch!??? WTF does that mean?? it was a good fight but i mean this is boxing! something doesn't sit right with me do you agree?

No shame in what Wright did. He feels like he was jobbed, he still feels under-appreciated. I'd be pretty pissed if I felt like I was "hometowned" too and so would any of you.

i scored the last round for Taylor. I was set to score it 10 10 until a flurry by taylor titled it his way in the last 40 seconds. I had scored 3 rounds (8, 9, 11)for Wright that i marked as could have gone either way...so i did give Winky the benefit of the doubt more so than i did taylor.
            i had the fight 114-114

my "coward" comment was in regards to him leaving the ring, not his fighting. I would never call Winky a coward for what he does in the ring. Stoopid, maybe, but never a coward. Taylor fought cautiosly in the last round too, but he at least chose to open up on one occassion.

                I had Wright winning 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 11, 12 Taylor winning 3, 6, 8, 10 and I had 9 even.

In those rounds Winky won he controlled Taylor with the jab, battered him against the ropes with power shots, and blocked a significant amount of Taylors shots with his gloves and arms.

Heh, that's why I find this fight so ammusing in scoring sense. The fight can be scored so many different ways each time I watch it probably.

                    I scored rounds 2, 4, 5, 8, 11, and 12 for Wright, with 1, 3, 6, 7, 9, and 10 for Taylor.
