Dude Lara didn't run in that fight he went toe to toe with Hurd the majority of the fight. In fact if Lara would have ran in round 12 he would have won the fight but he decided to stay in the pocket and got knocked down which was ultimately the difference in the fight.

I agree except that if he had run he would have lost the round and it would have been a majority draw. Lara needed to win the last round to win. To win, Hurd needed and got a knockdown.

Definitely needed that KNock down. Lara banked a solid 5-6 rounds early on. Actuallt was entertained watching a Lara fight.

I agree with Hurd. I think Farhood was giving Lara every benefit of the doubt and scored it closer than it was. More like 115-112 with or without the knock down as far as I saw it. The one judge (moretti) who scored Lara the winner must have missed the shots Hurd was landing to Laras torso. Funny, SOME of the same posters here sound like bitter Canelo fans after the draw with GGG or the loss DJ recieved from GGG. The right man won this fight. Hurd deserved the victory. Time for Charlo now.

I thought Hurd would have won by 2 points with out the knock down but I'm not upset at the decision. It was a hell of a fight.

He couldn't run....and the smartest thing Hurd did all night was to not let Lara clinch, so Lara went toe to toe because he knew he had to bank rounds ASAP.

It felt like Hurd's fight throughout but Lara is always going to give something the judges have to think about with clean effective shots - pretty much the story of his career.

Glad Hurd got the knockdown I wondering before the fight this might be one where the pressure fighter runs out of time.

I was going for Hurd, even had a small bet. I agree the KD was the difference. Honestly it was a sigh of relief. Not a fan of Laras at all and I have been very critical of him but he showed grit and stood poised. Hurd is just very big and has a granite chin, I honestly thought Hurd was going to stop him late. Good fight and I look forward to Hurds next fight, lets hope its Charlo!

No one wants to give Lara credit for showing heart... he did, he could've made that fight much easier on himself, chose not to. Hurd is decent, but his size is the difference here imo.

No your wrong. I thought G beat both those guys and Hurd won that fight.
