Dillian Whyte is a fighter, not a Lily-livered individual. He fights the best. His CV is more telling than that of some current champions

      1) WBC to order Whyte's mandatory with Wilder
      - Hearn's belief that Whyte will be ordered to take a final eliminator instead

      2) WBA to order Povetkins mandatory with Joshua
      - Whyte stating 'no chance' WBA will order that at the moment (err, why not ?)

      3) Meantime IBF ordered Whyte/Pulev as eliminator for Joshua
      - Whyte seeming more interested in the WBC route, else Povetkin eliminator, ie WBA route
      - basically Whyte wanting the two routes he currently doesn't have over the one that he does (Pulev)

Hearn is obviously in the background playing whack-a-mole, but can't see any game-plan that makes Wilder/Joshua more likely.
      My brain kind of hurts.

I do respect him. He is a fighter in every sense of the word. I like Pulev a ton as well, so this fight really interests me more than one with Povetkin who I feel we know what his ceiling is. Pulev has quite a bit of potential yet, and if he gets past Whyte we know he is a true player. Otherwise, Whyte will have earned his shot at one of the big two HW or whomever is left standing after the unification, without a doubt.
