You do realize that GGG was about to rematch Canelo right, he was not ducking the challenge. Canelo got caught cheating and pulled, they had about a month to find another opponent. Sure many boxers are gonna talk and say they want to fight GGG. But when it’s time to fight, who will really sign the contract? Also, do not forget that Golden Boy are still involved and probably have some say in who will fight...

I don't think so. GGG's team is pretty cheap. Maybe they offered him $50K or something like that, take it or leave it.

They offered the Mexican kid $800k.

No idea how Golovkin can get any flack for this situation. The way people are talking, you would think he's the one that pulled out to seek an easier option.

Golovkin had kept his end of the bargain and was ready to fight next month. Canelo b1tched out. Now GGG is left to find an opponent with about 4 weeks notice and we all know that you don't get a top opponent in that time frame, people just want to act like that isn't the case.
It's just the haters. They just want to vent against their favorite target. Today it's Golovkin, tomorrow it's Avarez or Ward or Lomachenko. When I read somebody calling a pro boxer a coward, etc, I just think has this guy ever even been in a fight? I think most are just trolls, hoping someone responds to them.

I would expect the same reaction if Golovkin pulled out. Frustrated with Golovkin for bailing and angry at Canelo for screwing up.

He didn't though. Canelo withdrew. Golovkin is being attacked for keeping the date he was already training for? Correct me if I'm wrong.
But Povetkin didn't get any of the backlash, Wilder did. You shouldn't pretend otherwise.

The actions both Wilder and GGG are taking is the result of the opponent cheating. Team Wilder pulling out and Team GGG picking Muniaga and now likely Spike O sullivan are understandable given the situation.

The focus and anger should be directed at the cheaters. Plain and simple. The posters that went in on Wilder rather than Povetkin/Ortiz tend to support GGG. As such it isn't surprising that those that don't like GGG are doing the same thing,

            You reap what you sow.

Sources? And if true, it's because they know it's a guaranteed win, not the case with Andrade.

No, they think it is because that GGG complained that the fight got cancelled. Therefore it is GGG's fault, and if he didn't complain about Clenelo's abuse, the fight would have gone through, and that makes him a coward for not wanting to fight someone on peds.

I'm sure the opponent he will face in May will stink. As I said I won't pay for the PPV and it will do nothing for his legacy.

All that said the people hating on here about this are mostly the same losers who always hate on him.

I'm hoping it's going to be Deveryanchenko.

That would be a great match-up and a huge disappointment for the GGG haters.
