That was a really good fight, Lara knew he was in deep shyt when he realized how long and big Hurd was he could not get his jab working. Had Hurd winning by a few rounds, very competitive fight.

Charlo-Hurd is next, I favor Charlo. Hurd is an absolute machine but does not seem to possess 1 punch KO power and uses his chin as a shield.

Ironic how so many Canelo fans have continously called lara boring but this fight along with his fight vs angulo have been more exciting than any canelo fight I've seen. Good win for Hurd.

I think Charlo beats Hurd. Big and strong enough to deal with Hurd's size and has the power now. And of course the boxing ability. But of course I'll be rooting for Swift

Its amazing Erislandy Lara even lasted this long in his career. I've seen him waddle through the final moments of every one of his fights for the past like 8 fights lol. He's always gassed and he's so old now. His counters were not as sharp as they once were and the work rate dropped even more with his aging. He says he wasn't tired after the fight, but come on man lol thats just a thing all boxers say after they've had a minute to have a breather after the fight. He shouldve retired like 3-4 fights ago. I'm actually a fan of his and its always hard to watch boxers who dont know when to quit. Which is pretty much all of them.

Hurd seems like a cool humble guy. But Charlos gonna wreck this guy tho. His style is the total opposite of what you want against someone like Charlo. Charlos young and able to take those punches while exchanging accurately. And Charlo's not a slow starter.

Love Hurd. Humble guy, brings it every round. Lara classless after the fight, although that surprises me not at all. I'd love to see a rematch, have a feeling Hurd would stop him if they do it again. His defensive lapses concern me if he faces a guy like Charlo. Would love to see Hurd beat down Charlo, who I think is arrogant....but my brain says Charlo would win. Incidentally, I think Charlo is relieved that Hurd beat Lara. Lara is his boy and I think Lara would pose alot of problems for him.
