Again, Ortiz was a top 5 HW. He was a tough test for either Wilder, Parker, or Joshua. He was older but still a dangerous fighter. If he won the fight his age wouldn't matter.
Now you're making your agenda clear. There's no reason for Wilder to fight Whyte to get Joshua. There is no need for them to be "even". Wilder has the other belt and Joshua wants all the belt. Parker didn't have to fight any other opponent to get to Joshua and neither should Wilder. If Fury was in fighting shape no one would insist he fight a list of opponents to get to Joshua. This is the lamest argument by Joshua fans by far. It makes them look nervous and insecure about the matchup between Wilder and Joshua

You’ll never convince me that Wlad is similar to Ortiz, one is a future Hall of Famer the other had just one world title fight and never held a serious belt. Its not a about bigging up AJ, it’s just a fact that his resume is good for 21 fights. A lot of Wilder fans would have a far better rep if they just admitted he fought a lot of bums, but he’s improved and can beat anyone if he gets the fights, that’s a fair argument.

Hahaha don’t jump to conclusions buddy, I don’t have any agenda but to see good boxing. I Don’t disagree, there is no good reason to hold up that fight right now, def not one of those talking about ‘earning a right to it’ and all that stuff, of course they should unify.

Part of me just doesn’t see it happening next, so I’m preparing for that and also, I’m one of those rarities, a patient boxing fan. If he were to go in and blast out Whyte or another former AJ opponent (because soo far there is surprisingly little to go on), then I think he’d get a lot of notice from fans and collect a few more along the way.

I wasn't trying to convince you but do you agree he was a top 5 HW? There's no reason to admit Wilder's resume is weaker compared to Joshua at this point in his career that point is irrelevant. That's like a "gotcha" thing to point out.

Any time I see someone ask for Wilder to go through obstacles to get the Joshua fight that's a clear indication to me they're a fan of Joshua and really, really don't want Wilder to jeopardize his status as a champion. I'm a fan of both fighters and I think Joshua can beat Wilder. If I was only a fan of Joshua I would still want to see this fight next.

If I had to guess I think you secretly don't want it to be next because of the reasons I gave earlier. This has nothing to do with patience. It's the best fight to have right now. Why would you as a fan care about increasing Wilder's profile in order to make this fight? It kills me when I see fans playing make believe promoters (I might be guilty myself sometimes). If the fight happens now and it's a good fight they can do it again. Both Joshua and Wilder have the personalities to remain big boxing stars if they end up losing to each other.

Everyone’s different dude, no need to put people in boxes. I actually can’t pick a winner or even a preference for that fight, both have good back stories and have assets.

Sorry, but AJ has a better resume. If this was top-trumps AJ’s Wlad, Parker and title wins trump Ortiz and Stiverne, add the Olympic Gold and he’s better on paper. But, I’m no fan boy for AJ, I see the chin is a bit suspect and some other stuff I’m not sure about. Wilder I actually quite like, I bet at home he’s as humble as apple pie and the providing for his family thing is relatable. He’s had sucky promotion and hasn’t put himself to the test enough, but he is improving where I see AJ plateau.

Let’s be clear I want to see Wilder vs Aj next, however if he must fight in between then Whyte, Parker, Takam is our first chance for direct comparison and if he blows them away I’d have to say he’s got AJ’s number.

Wilder probably does have the hardest right hand in Boxing, but there was nothing technical about the knockdowns of Stiverne, it was big swinging punches some of them hitting Stiverne at the back of the head, that right is really the only decent weapon Wilder has, he was even getting out jabbed by Gerald Washington (a 35 year old who didn't turn Pro until he was nearly 30) until he landed a big right on Washington.
