AJ should fight wherever he makes the most money which is the UK. It should be a good fight because Povetkin won't fight a retreating fight like Parker did.

If Joshua sets up a fight with Wilder next that would overrule the mandatory with PEDvetkin.

But what are Hearn and Joshua going to do? We'll have to wait and see.

This is good news. Puts a deadline on Hearn agreeing Joshua v Wilder as there's no way Hearn would get an exception to make Povetkin wait without a deal already in place for Joshua v Wilder. An let's face it the WBA will allow Povetkin to be sidestepped if it means a piece of the pie of an undisputed heavyweight championship bout.

Joshua was not fighting Wilder until next year anyway

... is Povetkin less dangerous than Wilder?... I think he rather is the contrary... my guess is that Joshua will try to sign Wilder (now at 70-30 %)...

Although Povetkin is good at getting inside and winging those hooks against Price, he's just gotta watch out for those Joshua uppercuts and Joshua is nowhere as stiff as Price is.

If we as boxing fans can tolerate one more fight each for both Wilder and Joshua, I would love Whyte-Wilder and Povetkin-Joshua back to back Saturdays this summer setting up a Joshua-Wilder fight in the fall/winter

Haters will say Hearn called WBA and used the mandatory to hide from Wilder

                    Wait for it. It's coming.

So this means Hearn will have to split his time negotiating with both camps?

                      Bad news.
