My wife was. She played softball, soccer and was a Marine. She did feel physically better. But honestly people who go vegan go because they are againest animal cruelty. Everything down to their shampoo is animal cruelty free. Thats the main reason she did it until one day she said “were the alphas in this world, sorry not sorry” and went back to eating whatever in healthy portions of course.

I'm sorry but "we're the alphas in the world" is about the most ridiculous reason to go back to eating meat I can imagine. Especially when the reason that said person stopped eating meat was because of animal compassion. It's like saying "I used to be polite then I realized that I was the alpha male in the world then I started grabbing vagina's and pissing in punch bowls because I'm superior. Sorry not sorry..."
