"Crews claims she suffered emotional distress from the incident and says Broner needs to pay up for any injuries she experienced, along with pain and suffering."

      $$$$ grab.

How would money help cure your emotional distress anyhow?

U.S. society is getting worse and worse.....males should just stop talking to females except their family members and start dating hookers only, they are better people than " normal " women.

Broner gropes a random woman, and she's the one whose at fault. Makes sense.

So if I am driving along and have had a beer with dinner, someone steps in front of my car, like literally steps in front of me while it is dark and raining... and my friend comes up to you and says, "my friend just had to sell his house, take the kids out of college, to pay this person's expenses because the cop says he is technically just over the alcohol level, even though it is one beer, and let me guess:

You are the azzhole that says "should not have been driving after having a beer." right?

In both cases you are using a false argument to create a victim where one does not exist... Nobody is blaming the woman by asking her to act like an adult who was groped and not like she hit the lottery. If I step out into traffic in the dark not watching myself maybe the amount of beers the driver had has equally nothing to do with how I accept my role in what happened.

The woman could maybe demand an apology, slap Broner in the face, but her team is going to make a statement similar to yours regarding the situation. In my example, the person stepping out also refuses to accept their responsibility for the situation.
