A good lookin' celebrity thats overall good for impressionable young kids and adoring females.

But a champion is a champion for a reason. the belts arent a fashion statement to show off in the ring after fighting guys your promoter picks for you.......and there is no more excuse room for all this "work in progress" CRAP, especially when u have the belts in your possession, then compare yourself to Lennox, talk about a museum in your honor, brag youre gonna KO the last standing champ then conversely be SCARED to death of giving him his WELL DESERVED shot......

Real champions fight anyone anywhere! Growing in skill set is your business, where youre at concerning that is btwn you, your trainer, and your mommy. Your opponent doesnt need to CARE or be impressed with your "humble" declarations on what youre working on - you simply NEED to BE READY & AVAILABLE as a CHAMPION! So all the SILLY self effacing talk doesnt impress anyone but vulnerable chicks and the writer of this piece......and is more evasive excuse talk to convince Hearn to wait a while longer.....
Thanks for letting us know there is a another title holder with the WBC belt can you tell me when has he tried to unify any belts? Or is he exempt?

Very ****** article written by a delusional person. Using the word 'hate'. I just stopped at that point. No one hates AJ. We DO NOT like his hypocrisy, the lies, the pretense, the hype about his perfection in technique, skills, etc. and every excuse made on his behalf because he is an Olympic Gold medalist - something that was gifted to him.

The performance he put on against Parker was really bad. All I ask is this - if Wilder had fought just like that, what would have been said? It is the repeated hypocrisy and the selective agenda of whom we MUST like and dislike by the media that some of us are opposed to. Luckily, some of us still have minds of our own.

No one is judging him for his past. That's why it is called the PAST. Who cares? Everyone of us has a past. It is the pretense to create a picture-perfect image that some of us also just don't lie. Be real for once - I know the world loves fakes more than the real ones.

@ sotgoda - speak for yourself, Gaylord. I think AJ is doing just fine.

i do not mean to insult u brov, but u do sound like a woman. U do not hate him, bt ur writting is all abt hate for a person who has gone through enough just to bcom a better person and a source of inspiration to all kids and peeps who have no hope of living a better live. And why is his lifestyle hurting u so badly, did he take any thing from u?

The writer says the fight was "intriguing". If he means fans were curious which fighter would actually land a punch, I guess you could say so.
The word that best describes the fight is boring.

Wilder couldn't put on a performance like that - he's not capable of it as he cannot box. Whatever Joshua's flaws and limitations, he's a much better boxer than Wilder could ever dream of being.

I agree with you that the word "hate" is used to blatantly here. I wouldn't say it was a really bad performance though. Just an incredibly uninspired boring fight.
Kinda reminds how boring Klitschko's fights were.

He fought safe with a ref in his pocket against a not very great of a opponent. But then again who's great in the HW division these days?

In the end the likes of Hearn are selling us this excitement about how great the HW is nowadays when in fact it is not. Just a handful of average to good boxers.

Yeah Joshua is a real show stopper. Lets see his best win was getting off the floor when decked by an already beaten 41 year old ex-champion who was way past his prime and hadn't fought in 18 months and ran out of gas. It's no surprise to me why he wants nothing to do with Wilder. Heck even fighting in England with a home crowd and three judges in his pocket and a referee like he just had won't save his title when he's knocked out cold by Wilder.
