3 times in the fight. Twice the ref let it go when AJ was throwing punches & jabs but the one time Parker gets inside & lands a right & there is a little clash of heads AJ actually held the glove up to the ref & walked to his corner. He held it up & showed the ref. Who does that? I don't recall ever seeing a fighter show the ref. Why did he not show the ref when he was on the offence? hahaha! Glad to see I wasn't the only one who saw it...

yeah i agree with a poster above. People don't realize that punches to the body in the clinch ARE scoring blows. That's how Ward beat kovalev the first time and knocked him out the 2nd. Body punches are scoring punchesComment

Damn that was a very ****ty fight. Really disappointed in Parker's effort. He had a big speed advantage, but was comfortable to just lay back and help stink out the joint. He shorted most of his jabs, and seemed a bit timid. Joshua was so damn slow, he couldn't land a right hand if his life depended on it. Hopefully, they never rematch. Parker, vs Povetkin, or Ortiz would be a good fight though.
Joshua should avoid Wilder as long as he can. Wilder is at least as fast as Parker, but with longer arms, and more height. His speed will be a big problem for Joshua.Comment

Parker was better than I thought. He knew how to keep AJ thinking what he wanted to do. AJ wasn't allowed to freely do what he does.
The fight wasn't exciting for most but it was a skilled contest. i had said it before that the winner of this fight would be the most skillful one.
The score cards were a joke but the right man won.Comment

Er. You know that throwing jab after jab that falls short of the target isn’t actually a good thing, right? Don’t think Parker landed two clean jabs all night.
The red was laughably bad, but that was an easy, easy night’s work for AJ. The first 3 rounds set the tone as Parker danced around a bit and didn’t land a single shot, whilst AJ just jabbed him to death. Was like watching a Vitali fight; AJ didn’t need to take a single risk to win comfortably and Parker gassed worse than Joshua as the fight went on. Tedious to watch, but objectively AJ did the bare minimum of what was necessary and he didn’t put any miles on the clock doing it.Comment
