    Jeff "Lawsuit" Lacy.
I never knew the product existed myself. I go grocery shopping every week and haven't seen one 'left hook' of anything on a shelf EVER!! LOL

i dont think thats how trademark laws work

if lacy had a drink named left hook, then he could sue.

i could be wrong but his trademark may be limited to boxing/boxers.

If he’s doing this for money, then he’s made a bad call. Getting reamed with both his and his opponent’s legal fees after he loses the case is only going to leave him further in the hole.

You can have "left Hook" trade mark for boxing gloves that doesnt mean everything is off limits from "left hook" just means direct markets etc cant use it, a company cant come out and make "left hooks" boxing shoes cause it too close in relations that the consumer can confuse the two as two different brands but say "left hook" cat food will be ok.

Ita a tricky lane for sure.

Now how close is sports drink to left hook as a moniker for a boxer???? its a stretch but hey why not try it if you in desperate need of cash.
'Left hook' cat food, you say? Now there's a thought. Gonna get me some of that ish to serve up on my neighbours cats next time they **** on my lawn.

Much depends on the scope and the Broad nurse of the trademark and that is not specified but more than anything I think Lacey is broke ...

Sky Sports has trademarks over the word Sky. They own it.

Someone else got stopped from using Sky recently. Can't find it though.

If Carl has the word Cobra trademarked, then yes. Very unlikely he would be able to trademark the name of an animal.

They said he owns a trademark. If you can't understand those letters strung together, maybe it's you that's ******.
the guy believes that he can win a $500M suit for this dumb Sh**. that is S T U P I D. if you can't understand that then you're even dumber than he is and you haven't even got the Calzaghe excuse, you're just plain dumb.

Lacy bout to come up. Frazier should've thought of this.

                      Pay that man.

                      $500 MILLION DOLLARS. Fair justice.
