This is why I say you are a ****ty poster.

He didn't eat tainted meat. He was cheating and got caught. And only one year is being generous to him.

He started testing mid february and as soon as he got tested he got busted. He wasn't being tested for 5 months before that. He's not doing VADA 365 like Golovkin.

When the scandal broke, we didn't know what we know now, that he failed TWICE and the first time he had 10 times the amount of clen than the second time three days later, which indicate he was probably coming out of a cycle.

It doesn't matter how many tests he didn't fail. The 2 tests he did fail are the only ones that count.

I knew Golovkin would be blamed for this.

That said, I'm not happy about this. Couldn't they have suspended him after the fight? This was too big of a fight....

              Why?

How many tests do you think he should need to pass before he can start failing them without anything happening?

That’s right. These are the concessions a professional has to make particularly when that profession affords him millions of dollars in income and the perks in life that come with that level of income. And we’re giving him the benefit of doubt that it was just tainted meat. There may be more to it than that. Foolish behavior on his part.

Well not exactly a great analogy

He faiked twice because he was goven two tests within like a 3 day window, and the secons failed test was consistent with how much you would expect to be left in one's system after 48 hours.

It's like if u smoked weed on a friday and then got tested the next monday and wednesday but you didnt smoke again on tuesday - nevertheless you'd still test dirty again on wednesday cause still in yoir system.

There is so much hyperbole and ignorance around these issues. People seem to take it so personally and cluster fvk in their little rat packs. Lets try to look at this reasonably.

First off a lot of these substances, in low doses have the profound effect of allowing an athlete to heal. You know like when you go to the doctor and get a steriodal creme for something? Athletes are not trained to look at the different ethical dilemnas involved with finding a competative advantage. They train to be the best and try to put things in their bodies that allow them to do their best.

The amount these guys are getting tagged for is really small. I don't know how much advantage this substance gives but come on... certainly marginal at best.

I understand things like handwraps with cement, or roiding up in a way that changes the physiology of an individual...this is not that, it was not that when Toney used a steriod to help hs knee heal and it was not that when Stenelo ate the tainted Messican meat pie. The self righteousness of some is really amusing. I doubt some of the more self righteous even know what makes a steriod so different from other chemical agents...Why one can take creatine for example and not clenbuterol what such a fuss is about.

Victor Conte with all the steriodal shenanigans attributed to him made his bones by learning how to administer a very precise test to determine the deficiency of vitamins and minerals for an athlete... This is what he was paoid for and where he showed "results" before the scandal.

I suspect though after they hear Canelo's defense at the hearing and reviewing his proof, it'll be reduced to 6 months, retroactive to the date of his first positive test, making him eligible to fight in August, leaving the door open for him to fight GGG in September.
                      I could see that.

Anyone heard anything on the plans for May 5? Or they just gonna kill that date?
