Saw a homeless man by the burger king near my house doing some shadowboxing. I asked him, "what are you doing man?" He said, "I'm training to fight a guy named Keith Thurman." True story.

it's quite evident he's looking for someone that can breathe going up the ring steps and not fall down before round 2... his time is running out eventually he must fight Spence and that will be the end of one time no time...

Nothing wrong with a tune up coming off a long layoff and surgery.

Fighting Spence right away would be a ****** idea and also rob fans of seeing the two best 147 lbers fight at 100%

Thurman vs. Alexander! Make it happen! If you can't beat Devon Alexander, you shouldn't be called "The Champ!" **** all the elbow, layoff, etc.! Devon is not even in the WBC Top 15! Mr. Haymon, where is Yordenis Ugas?

Omar Figueroa would be a good winable opponent.

"There have been a variety of different discussions. The challenge there is it's fair that Keith be in with a guy something short of world championship level. (He's had) an elbow surgery, a car accident, a long layoff. Not to mention marriage. He's entitled to take less than a killer in his first fight back."

All I got from this is "We wanna make sure Keith's next opponent isn't good enough to whoop his cherry picking @$$, yet has a good enough chin to not make it look like a televised sparring session."

I don't mind a tune up, but I feel like we're going to see some Rod Salka **** here.

Unfortunately Rod Salka is facing Francisco Vargas. Would have been hell up a match up.
