I don't think it will be anyone that good.

Yeah that sounds more like it. BK homeless guy looked good beating Crackhead Charlie on worldstar last week though so might be too dangerous. I hear rumours there's a one armed janitor working at Barclays that Keith spotted and called out though.

Why didn't Steve Kim ask about the undercard? Can't see Keith fighting a cab driver and an undercard full of cab drivers. Usually you'll have an undercard set by now even if the main event isn't set. I'll believe Keith is fighting when I see him in the ring.

Doin the ol’ we’ll give the opponent a month to train for the fight. Nice.

Well if there are no mandatory deadlines then an optional defence against anyone in the top 15 in the WBC or WBA is ok with me.
I just don't want to see someone from the division below somehow get a top 15 ranking out of nowhere and then he fights a nobody.
James DeGale just did that and lost his IBF Super-Middle Weight World Title to Caleb Truax who was a Middleweight and lost all 3 of his step-up fights at world level (Danny Jacobs, Jermain Taylor and TKO Round 1 against Anthony Dirrel)
Anyway I loved the upset in that Truax won (in the UK as well) and I look forward to the rematch next weeK (April 7th).

Bit of a tangent there, one of these fighters for Thurman's optional WBA/WBC -

-WBA rank no 10. Samuel Vargas
-WBC rank no 12. Ahmed El Mousaoui

-Vargas as a measuring stick (former Danny Garcia opponent
-or El Mousaoui because he's tall and same height as Spence

Whoever they choose has to be feeling a huge amount of disrespect . Not at champioship level? Not a killer? What's he supposed to mean by that, lol.

Well, to look on the bright side, it’ll probably be 10 times the biggest purse the bum has ever made before, so that should definitely soften the sting.
