Im American, Ive never based my like or dislike for a boxer on their nationality. Ive rooted for foreign boxers over American boxers and vice versa. I never really new it was a thing until I started paying attention here.

I'd like that to be a thing in the UK. I don't really consider myself a fan of any boxer. I quite like George Groves but if he loses I don't give s.hit.

But over here boxing is very much about regional or national allegiances. But the profile is shifting a bit.

If there was ever a time to market a foreigner fighter in the UK it's is now.

Might have to become a fan of the Kazakh Hearn signed.

You don't get it. That's OK. It's a fairly simple correlation but seeing as how you can't get through a post without throwing a tantrum and calling names, it makes sense that you might not understand.

I'll leave it at that but if you want to tell me what a mean c%nt I am one more time, go for it.

I was actually in london last summer and was walking through edgware road and piccadilly circus like I owned that place!!

America is your daddy, which is why mcdonalds is all over your biggest city.

In fact that's all i ate when i was there because british food is trash!!

You and your fantasies, hey. Haha.

You probably walked round with a fanny-pack asking for directions like all fat Americans do when over here.

Loma hasn't been a pro long enough or had enough pro fights to get anywhere near Floyd's level.

I don't see any reason why GGG shouldn't be compared to Hagler though, given what he's achieved so far at MW.

Yeah, Hagler was undisputed and lineal champion, but he didn't have the multiple titles and political bull**** that GGG has had to contend with during his era.

And Hagler was able to build his career by working his way up the ladder in his own country. He didn't have to base himself in a foreign country, then move again to yet another country in his 30s to get the chances his talent deserved, the way Golovkin did.

I'm a big fan of Hagler, so that's no disrespect to him. I just happen to rate GGG very highly too.

It’s called nationalistic pride but some take it way too far. But it goes both ways
