You mean you hope it would? That's a big difference. They're not just going to put a fight on in the US that could tank when they know they could put the fight on in the UK and smash it out of the park.

As I've said many a time, Wilder's side is going to have to make some serious guarantees for the fight to happen in the states. If it flops, then that's not their fault. Joshua should be paid regardless of what happens. So if Wilder's side loses money, then they are to blame.

Wilder already offered to take whatever and travel anywhere to fight AJ.
It’s common knowledge he wanted to get in the ring after the fight.
Since he can’t accompl his goals might as well forget it.
AJ himself said out his mouth he don’t want Wilder in the ring.
Never heard Wilder backdown from confronting AJ.
The truth is plain to see.

He's going to end up fighting Brezeale next for less than half of what he would get for Whyte.

It's a joke he's no showing, and it's all because he can't put his pride and ego to one side.
Hearn wants to use Whyte to hide AJ like Wilder said if beating Whyte means AJ is next he has no problem doing that. Besides Hearn plans on paying Wilder even more money to fight Whyte so if Hearn can do that why can't he just make the fight everyone wants to see which is AJ-Wilder. You can't tell me that Whyte vs Wilder is better Wilder vs AJ! And if you agree with that then why waste time with Wilder having a meaningless fight with Whyte who has already lost to AJ by KO!!

Oh God. I can see it now and mark my words, AJ is going to get on the mic post fight and "call out" wilder and act like he invited wilder to the fight but wilder was to scared to come. Hearn is making coin off AJ, it's like he's (Hearn) Arum all over again right when the real Bob just starts to see things our way. Danny, I don't see you having a fight of worth anytime soon. Good Luck

So why should Wilder go if they’re plainly going to duck Wilder?

Wilder needs to grow his own brand now and work on becoming AJs mandatory so he can’t run no more.
Well he cant be mandatory because he has WBC title. But the rest spot on.I mean NOW hearn is calling for him to be there last week he sayin STAY OUT OF RING.

Good. Hearn and AJ both made it clear Wilder would not be allowed in the ring. And Hearn been promoting both guys fighting others fighters first. So there's no point in playing their dumb game.

The articles are right here on Boxingscene.

The only thing Hearn kept saying is that they want Wilder to fight his decoy.

They’re stalling and Wilder shouldn’t lend his name to Joshua’s event if ththere is no indication that they want to sign a fight with him.

He needs to do him and fight the best fights available.

When Joshua is finish strategizing and plotting these games the fight will happen.

If I were Wilder I would go after Fury. That’s the biggest fight he could make outside of Joshua probably.

Very simple. When you are the clear B side and aren't really worth ****, you do not dictate. At this moment in time, Wilder doesn't really bring much more money to the event, just like this Parker fight, the increase in revenue is offset by the fact that Joshua has to pay these guys a larger percentage, so whilst Parker is getting 1000% more, Joshua is probably getting a couple of million more than his normal £15-18 million. He is genuinely making these fights, because he wants to unify.

There are lots of examples of fighters, far more well known than Wilder, who brought much more clout and value to a boxing event, but still had to jump through hoops. Why? Because they were the B SIDE.

Wilder chasing Fury is a TERRIBLE idea, Fury will never take that fight with Joshua on the table. A more likely scenario is that, if Wilder doesn't play ball, Joshua probably makes a US debut next, and Fury after that, which by the way is a much bigger fight than Wilder currently.

Wilder no showing really is a horrible business decision. He should be coming over, making a hell of a lot of noise about fighting Joshua. Even if Whyte gets in his face, so what? He can shut him down easy, that 'Whyte isn't worth his time, and he wants the King'. Either way, its all free publicity on the biggest stage possible, scratch that its not free, he is getting fcking paid to do it!!!

I think there are a few reasons why Team Joshua don't want the fight straight away:

Firstly I think from a sporting perspective, Rob Mcracken's interview today was very revealing during the press conference, and its something I have suspected for the past several months and actually posted yesterday. He said he thought Joshua took the Klitschko fight, 3 fights too early, but it was such a big fight and a profile raising fight that they couldn't turn it down and took the risk. I would hazard a good guess that McCracken has said to Joshua and Hearn that he wants 2 or 3 more camps before they fight Wilder, so they don't give experience away again, and I think Joshua still has some flaws to iron out defensively and pacing himself before he steps in with a puncher like Wilder.
Difference is this time there is no reason to rush into it, apart from appeasing the fans.

Secondly - If you refer back to my first paragraph, giving these guys even 35% of the pot, doesn't balance the equation. I think Hearn and Joshua more than Wilder understand the fight right now, financially just isn't as big as it needs to be, and can be. For Wilder it makes no difference, he is getting that retirement fund from the Bank of Joshua either way.

Lastly - Hearn for sure is trying to get one of his other fighters a shot at the title and a large pay day in Whyte. He can't lose in that situation, because either his fighter wins and sets up a huge rematch unification for the undisputed belt, or Wilder wins and builds the Joshua fight further. The beauty of this from Wilder's perspective is he fights Whyte for over double his highest pay day, approximately $4-5 million, and he gets Joshua after for $15-20 million. Its honestly a no-brainer.

As a fan I don't care when it happens as long as its within the next 12 months. If Wilder-Joshua happens next - I will be as excited as everyone else. But Wilder no showing is a bytch move, and he can't put his ego to one side. Its a terrible... terrible business decision.

Does it really matter one way or another what wild or does I do not even follow this division it's so weak and terrible as far as quality... the good fighters of the 70s would have destroyed him and Liston would have knocked them out with no problem... people only watch Sonny from that dive fight with clay ...watch him vs Cleveland Williams that was Sonny...
