The optics are terrible. It's not as bad as Bowe putting the title in the garbage, but its bad. Every fan understands AJ can financially survive without fighting Wilder. That isn't how fans want or expect the HWT champ to behave.

AJ can take the the path taken by Wlad or the next Lennox while carving out his career. The main reason Wlad gets less respect than many feel he deserves is his getting KTFO by bums in the US, staying away for a long time, and then only against absolute trash opponents.

lennox on the other hand is much more respected because he was willing to come here to slay the best guys.
I just watched an interview with AJ and Radio Raheem. AJ said that he will accept the terms Wilder wanted - they make Wilder an offer, and whatever it is, the split will be reversed in a rematch if Wilder wins.

He said if Wilder wants it, he can have it next on those terms. The ball is in Wilder's court now. If he doesn't show up in Cardiff and nobody from his team contacts Hearn to start negotiating, the only people who think AJ is avoiding Wilder will be the usual suspects at this crazy place.

Yo. Let that corn-fed boy keep stalling with the skills he has someone will soon come along and take his belt and cash in on that super fight with Joshua.

Whyte's status will be unchanged by a unification. He can fight the winner, although if it's Wilder he will have wait until after the rematch clause. Obviously Wilder/Whyte would be not as big seeing as AJ already KO'd Whyte.

This is another fact that makes me think Hearn is going to HBO and going to wait on Wilder. I just hate that as a fan.

I get it from a financial position and can't argue Hearn should do anything different.
It aint all bad for Wilder though, Dunn. He can take the Whyte fight and make four million dollars and go on to Joshua. Unless you dont think he gets pass Whyte.

              Poorly advised if so.

He would have been commentating the fight from about 2 foot outside the ropes and he could have just walked in the ring anyway.

They obviously would have invited him up if he win.

I just think they're worried about the circus. Dillian Whyte and possibly even Fury would try and embarrass him.

I'm afraid not. Ortiz who alost beat Wilder would have smashed Chisora easy

He's afraid because he doesn't want to fly across the ocean to be part of a circus? Whyte is a clown, not everyone cares for that act.

You guys watch way too much pro wrestling.

I can’t be the only one to find it ironic that Just as Eddie is bashing Deontay he’s offering him more money to fight Dillian.

Of thats the reason, he doesnt wana be part of a circus. When he himself started the circus by stating he was going to walk into the ring when the fight was finished... directly contravening rules from the BBBofC.

No its all because of dillian whyte, and anthony joshua and the big matchroom circus.

Thgose circus' grant him and have offered him the biggest payday of his career
