IF it's accurate that the hair follicle test can give a definitive answer, then the only reason I can see it not being used is that some people involved don't want the truth to come out. If I were innocent, I'd demand that test immediately and if I were in charge of the investigation, it'd be my first order of action.

It would be a shock if they don't fight. There's no need for the charades. Boxing is corrupt and everyone knows that. The more you try to sweep it under the rug, the bigger the bruise on the sport. If Golovkin is still down to fight, then have the fight. If not, cancel it and move on.

That would suck if you booked tickets and hotels for this and you gotta tell your boss "Well...the politics of boxing. I might need a few days off but I won't know until April 10th when the hearing goes down." haha

It's easy to see what's happening here. The reason they are giving it until April 10th to have a meeting and make a decision is it gives Canelo time to cycle off of the drugs in case GGG and his team demand a hair follicle test or some other more stringent way of finding out if Canelo has been ingested other banned substances.

The WBC is in cahoots with Golden Boy so this is a way to satisfy angry fans and quiet down Abel Sanchez.

I believe Canelo is a red headed cheating Mexican wanker but I also believe the fight will go on. Either way the fight is tainted. If Canelo wins people will call him a cheat anyway.

I believe Pauly when he says that Canelo is cheating. Pauly was a champion and has been around boxing all his life. I will take his word instead of all these bias Canelo ball huggers. Lmao

This is all a smokescreen .The fights going to happen. It's all about the money.Drug testing is a PR campaign the boxing organizations use to sell the public on how they worry about the fighters. They'll suspend a few fighters here and there but as you can see as soon as the issue happened to an elite fighter with 10 of millions on the line the excuse police come out in full force pushing all this baloney. Why does anyone have to prove how a fighter twice failed drug tests if the tests were correct and he/she had PERFORMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS in their system. I guess from now on it's up to the sanctioning bodies to produce video of the boxer juicing otherwise any excuse will do. Canelo should have been suspended immediately once the tests were proved valid. I guess for now on if you want to juice just by your beef in mexico and sprinkle it on the steak. Problem solved

I've always gotten the feeling Sr. wishes Canelo was his son instead of Jr. lol

Sr. is actually right. Suspend or say you're all about the money and lets get it on with Canelo or someone else. End of story really.

No doubt. The first fight wasn't very close in my opinion. No point in a rematch other than to right any wrong the first fight decision made.
