Well Bob Bennett of the NSAC got back to me, which I wasn't actually expecting, but didn't really add any clarity just pointed me at https://www.leg.state.nv.us/NAC/NAC-467.html which is pretty much what I'd dug up already...

Still. Good of him to reply. I'll have to start pestering 'em more often... now what's the e-mail address for VADA?

It's standard practice in many professions following allegations of wrongdoing to issue a notice of suspension pending investigation. Just the way things are done.
Actually under this type of suspension he can train BUT IS NOT allowed to spar with other fighters. Problem is who is going to enforce that (unless his camp is ****** enough to film it).

That would appear to be the gist of it, if my digging through the NSAC statutes is anything to go by, but honestly they're a little opaque and it'd be nice to get some official word on this. Bob Bennett (or presumably his secretary) of the NSAC sadly declined to give me a direct answer though.

Koba, that’s extremely cool that Mr. Bob Bennett responded to you! Wish they would be a little clearer, not so opaque. Appreciate the heads up, and appreciate you stepping up like that!!
