Question; If Canelo is suspended, is he still allowed to PUBLICLY train?

My question is; if Clenelo is suspended, is he supposed to stop training?
My initial thoughts would be that he is allowed to train. After reading some things, it almost sounded like he is not supposed to train, or at least not publicly. I could very easily be misunderstanding it though. I mean what would the point of a suspension be if he could? Obviously he is in Cali, not Nevada, so I don’t see how it could be upheld, if that’s the case.....OPINIONS, DISCUSS PLEASE FRIENDS

He can do whatever he wants, he is just not allowed to fight in Nevada for the next 2 weeks, until the hearing. I think the NSAC finally felt some pressure from boxing fans out there and realized they couldnt just manipulate everyone like they usually do and wipe the incident under the rug. They probably really found out that Canelo most likely was cycling off PEDs and made a powerplay to

    a) soothe/calm the fans/media and team Golovkin
    b) try to strenghten their weakened image, try to appear fair and not corrupt for once
    b) pressured Canelo/Golden Boy into a corner and tell them "Our investigation has shown that Canelo cheated, we can make it appear like it was tainted meat, but then you you gotta pay a nice big check"

Eventually Canelo will be cleared and the fight will go on, no matter if Canelo cheated or it was tainted meat. Nevada will make some good extra money from it and the public will think they acted accordingly and investigated fairly.

As best I understand it's just a formal gesture. Basically he ain't allowed to fight in Nevada while suspended, but he wasn't going to anyway, so...

It's standard practice in many professions following allegations of wrongdoing to issue a notice of suspension pending investigation. Just the way things are done.

I feel ya....did you read the post below yours? Obviously you can still train, out of the public eye, but it’s the public training I’m referring to

That’s what I was thinking. Out of the public eye he’s good, but out in public is frowned on...gotcha. Thanks for the input

Anyone fancy wading through a morass of legalese?

The NAC regulations on 'LICENSING AND CONTROL OF CONTESTS AND EXHIBITIONS OF UNARMED COMBAT'

I've also e-mailed 'em, cos, well I don't really want to wade through all that crap.

EDIT: NRS 467.070  Jurisdiction of Commission.

                    1.  The Commission has and is vested with the sole direction, management, control and jurisdiction over all contests or exhibitions of unarmed combat to be conducted, held or given within the State of Nevada, and no contest or exhibition may be conducted, held or given within this state except in accordance with the provisions of this chapter.

                    2.  Any boxing or sparring contest conforming to the requirements of this chapter and to the regulations of the Commission shall be deemed to be a boxing contest and not a prize fight.

The ABC regulations state that a suspension from one SAC should also be applied to the others.

In short this could theoretically mean that Canelo could be disallowed from public sparring - certainly from receiving renumeration thereof, but it's hard to see how one could extend the ruling beyond that.
