The point of the OP is that Wilder-Joshua should be in Las Vegas, because the gate revenue is much more and the PPVs generate more money.

However one word of note is i do worry about Joshua's American TV Situation, contract with Showtime is up and if he does move to HBO, i highly doubt Haymon affilated Wilder will fight over their.It could create a Co-Broadcast Conflict.

Hearn has already said, or til this week when he's saying all sorts of conflicting sh^t, that the plan is either gonna be a fight in June/July-ish & then Wilder or some time off & then Wilder before the end of the year. Either of those plans puts the fight later in the year in a more PPV friendly period of time.

Now if Hearn WAS being legit or IS being legit now when he's pushing Whyte harder who knows. I think the money is too big & the risk is to big to not make the fight within 2 fights/the end of the year & I tend to think he was just doing for Whyte what Whyte needed & Joshua is the guy he's gonna most be loyal to & work towards big things happening. But who really f#cking knows!??!?!?

And this HBO vs Showtime thing keeps getting brought up, but Wilder isn't with Showtime. And Haymon is Wilder's manager not his promoter. Haymon offers advice & suggestions to his fighters on what the best offer is. The best offer if Hearn sends one to Wilder's people is gonna be Joshua on Showtime, HBO or the Home Shopping Channel so I don't think the HBO vs Showtime thing is a thing. The money here is to big & Wilder isn't contractually obligated to Showtime.

That would probably lose the fighters about millions upon millions.

Nobody would give a s.hit about the fight.

If you were a promoter that would probably be enough to not looking at scheduling that fight in June or July.

So probs August or September.

There are a dozen or more fights left in Joshua's career & some will surely be big fights. There are more guys on the come up in the HW division then there's been in a long time. Who's gonna be THAT guy? Sh^t idk, but there is gonna be a next guy & a guy after that & so on. There always is.

Their are only 2 Fights which is of general relevence to the US Market.Which is Jarell Miller and Deontay Wilder.The Rest are all UK Based.I dont know how Hearn will make the best of this, but i think AJ has reached his peak in the UK Market.USA is the one they need to crack, Dana White for all it ridiculous it sounds.You may aswell do something different or innovative with AJ, or he will just become another Klitschko

Idk. I'm not 100% convinced Joshua even cares about being big world wide necessarily to try to be big in the US. Some of the stuff Hearn & Joshua say suggest thats not something they are for sure about completely yet despite some blueprint plans being discussed. One would think he would cuz....MONEY of course, but who knows.

If he does make a move to the US I could see him having 1 or 2 fights a year here of 3 fights a year & a 50/50 split when he goes to 2 fights a year potentially. The money is gonna be much sweeter in the US so it might overall lean more the US's way.

The thing that'll be a problem is how do you handle the time differences? I'd say you gotta convert to US time cuz the money is much bigger if you are selling PPV's here thus he'd have to be selling his PPV's in the UK at 5am or w/e the f#ck. But that seems sh^tty to the fans there so idk if that happens either lol.

But then again if he sticks to UK friendly PPV times than who the eff is buying a afternoon PPV in the US? Idek if thats ever been a thing.

It's not even about money.

Las Vegas - whether it was UK or US or Mexico - is the mecca of boxing. There are no other serious events it hosts other than boxing. It hosts meaningful ******** events (like WSOP), concerts, formerly XFL games, and now NHL hockey.

However, everyone comes to town for Boxing because you can plan a weekend around it. There are more attractions than you have time for. Don't have much money? Check out closed-circuit. Vegas has the best closed circuit venues available.

Obviously there are great pokerrooms, slot machines, strip joints, clubs, bars, shows, and basically anything else you could think of doing in Vegas. It's the best "getaway" for short weekends.

Las Vegas is and probably always will be the mecca of boxing. Oh and they have 0% state tax. That's another VERY IMPORTANT feature for fighters/trainers (even if they don't want to admit it)
