Comments Thread For: Chisora Dares David Haye To Stake Big Money on Joe Joyce Fight

British heavyweight contender Dereck Chisora has demanded old rival David Haye put his purse with Tony Bellew on the line in order to arrange a fight with dangerous Olympian Joe Joyce. Chisora impressed on the undercard of the Dillian Whyte-Lucas Browne heavyweight fight at London's O2 Arena by stopping Zakaria Azzouzi with a savage right hand in the second round.

He wants no part of Joyce. If he did he'd just accept a normal purse like he has every other fight.

A loss to Joyce buries him & a win does nothing for him. What does he gain fighting a 2 fight novice? Sure a decent purse but there is a potential fight with Takam in the works that would impact his position if he were to win & he could probably earn the same purse. I see why nobody wants to fight Joyce. It’s not because they are scared but what it would do to their career if they were to lose to a 2 fight novice. I understand they want to fast track him but they may have to overpay some lesser opposition to get him fights.

This wouldn't be so comical if Joyce's last opponent didn't look like his day job was frying chicken.

.... on the other hand, it's good business sense to squeeze every last drop out of a tomato can like Chisora, look what they're doing with Haye/Bellew.

Ridiculous demand. Chisora thinks anyone would accept that? He knows he's in a no-win situation if he fights Joyce

Joyce will have to wait a little and get at least 10 pro fights to be taken seriously. He is not Lomachenko and this is heavy weight divison.

What a chicken ****. Demanding money from someone else's fight. Got his bum boy hearn giggling like a school girl in the background. How does it make them look good. If the boot was in the other foot hearn and chisora would be crying that's not how business is done. Wastemen

Joyce would get beat by Chisora, there's too much hate there, and Chisora is always dangerous when he fights with hate.

I think Chisora has been in with much tougher opponents than Joyce, and he would be fully motivated to win.
