Wilder should fight him. He is a top contender and Wilder won't likely be fighting AJ next anyway. If Wilder beats Whyte easier than AJ did it would make AJ look bad if he didn't fight Wilder. Miller would be another good fight for Wilder but a dangerous fight.

Too bad the aussie bar bouncer came in and showed what he actually was, an unskilled big guy with no world level talent. Now we have to listen to a bunch of Dillian is a contender garbage again because he took 6 rounds to stop a bum that didn't have any skills.
Wilder would stop either of them .......... early.

Exactly what's the incentive to fight him then??? He's not a mandatory, he brings no money to the table, and he doesn't sell any ppv.

Wilder doesn't have any long term deal with Sky and Sky have no investment in Wilder. Sky have been picking up his fights and 'promoting' Wilder over here purely in order to build the Joshua v Wilder fight.
On that note if for some reason we cannot get Joshua v Wilder next a Wilder v Whyte fight would equally help build that fight even more and would be a decent route for Wilder to apply more pressure to Joshua because I seriously doubt Wilder would struggle with Whyte.

Im no fan of Wilder nor am I of Dillian but Wilder should take this fight and spark Whyte out as I believe he would whilst making a career high pay day for it, maybe tripling his standard purse when he fights in the U.S and then make a solid claim for 60-40 that would guarantee himself that 8 figure payday against Joshua with the prospect of a rematch. Its a win/win for everyone.
