  • Comments Thread For: Dillian Whyte Wants Deontay Wilder Next, Calls for June Fight

Dillian Whyte wasted no time in calling out Deontay Wilder on Saturday night. As soon as Whyte's post-fight interview began at ringside with Sky Sports, a demonstrative Whyte yelled several times that the time has arrived for him to get a shot at the unbeaten WBC heavyweight champion. Whyte made the strongest case he could to challenge Wilder moments earlier, when he knocked Lucas Browne unconscious in the sixth round of their fight at O2 Arena in London.

F.uck off Whyte and stop being used as a prop by Hearn to delay a AJ/ Wilder fight

He's right, AJ is too scared to fight Wilder next, so Wilder might as well knock Whyte out in the meantime. Then Breazeale, then maybe AJ will have grown a pair by then. All in the US though, to continue growing his profile.

Lame Hearn put him up to this. Nobody is anticipating a Whyte vs Wilder matchup!! Seriously what credit would Wilder get for beating a guy who AJ already KO'd!! I think the boxing world agrees that AJ is a better fighter than Whyte it's already been proven in the ring. If AJ can't come to terms with Wilder I'm pretty sure DW will be more than happy to fight Whyte in the UK for a good payday

Whyte is being used as a roadblock or obstacle to delay the AJ/Wilder fight...not a single soul is asking for a Whyte/Wilder fight and honestly-how much credit would Wilder be given if he pummels the already beaten Whyte?

I think Whyte/ Povetkin or Whyte/Ortiz or even Whyte/Duhaupas makes more sense in terms of match ups (all contenders). A Whyte/Wilder fight is like taking steps backwards for the career of Wilder....I don't care how much Wilder gets paid for that either, because I wanna see the best fighting the best.

Oh if Wilder doesn't fight AJ next you can guarantee he will fight Whyte. That was why Wilder turned down $4 million.
A purse bid on this fightand it will go to a purse bid, will net Wilder $6-$7 million. Expect thus fight June at the 02.
