As I said in another thread Browne had no chance of winning. He beat a washed up semi retired Chagaev who ran out of gas. He went life & death with Rudenko so I never did understand why anyone thougt he was good. Padded record who beat A washed up Toney & Chagaev. Whyte is at another level & he exposed Browne just as I said he would. It reminded me of Arreola exposing Seth Mitchell. I suspect Browne won’t come near another top contender unless he fights Parker at some point or Alex Leapai. He could get a few more fights but I doubt he beats anyone in the top 20-30...

Huh, could have sworn that this fight was on the undercard of the Joshua fight. Saw the knockout, pretty brutal. I thought this matchup might have been pretty even but obviously Whyte showed that he's a cut above. He'll rightly claim that he deserves another title challenge now - I just hope this doesn't kibosh any chance of a Joshua-Wilder fight happening next. If it does, I guess Wilder vs. Whyte is a slightly more attractive prospect now, at least, though I still think Wilder wins.

I don't think we know yet if Whyte is the real thing, but it looks like we'll thankfully soon find out. Not that Browne was any kind of a challenge. He wasn't. But Whyte did show some good solid skills in there with this fight, and it is possible he can do the same vs a more formidable challenge. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing his next fight.

Whyte actually looked in good shape for once and Browne had the body of someone they pulled off the back of a garbage truck. Man...after all of those pics they showed of Browne with good sparring partners (wearing a shirt) he clearly didn’t have a nutritionist or a cardio coach. This fight was a win for anyone who ever got hustled out the door by a strip club or night club bouncer.

Browne didnt even need a nutritionist .....its what you call a greedy bastard who was gorging on every burger and kebab he could get his ****** aussie hands on even during camp....i don't care who it is...,if you train every day and eat normal you would look in much better shapa than what browne entered the ring in......

I think you should. He picked his shots well, his defence was solid on the rare occasions that Browne weebled into range and the finish was emphatic.

Thought he looked in decent nick physically and his ring IQ has improved. I know people will bring up the Helenius fight, but that coward ran like a little ***** all night. Decent performance, albeit against a fatty with no gameplan.

Sorry didn't see anything i don't already know about Whyte. The only thing i learnt which already suspected was Browne is a completely shot inept fighter. If anyone couldn't pick their shots against a slow plodding ungainly 120kg lump with zero defense then there's problems. Wish Whyte all the best but for me his ceiling remains the same.
