Why didn't they? It seems strange that they wouldn't highlight a highlight reel KO like that.

I understand that you're a casual lol Listen (1) the corruption in the WBC isn't perceived, it's very real; (2) if you actually followed the sport you'd know they have a history of allowing certain fighters to do what they please, Wilder is one of those guys.

What I wrote wasn't a "hope", it's what they will do b/c they only care about $. Your post only shows that you're a casual and a likely UK fanboy. If you want to talk boxing, then fine, but don't try to insult me if you don't know the context of my post.

Btw I don't care who Wilder fights next. Barring injury, if it's Whyte, he beats him by KO (like he would against anybody not named Joshua). Spare me the nonsense.

I assume because they didn't know the full extent of Browne's health & the man could have been in serious medical trouble for all they knew.

              • I DVR'd the fight and just watched now. Let me preface by saying that I could care less about networks, promoters, etc...I just want to see good fights. With that being said: I was never sold on Browne, I only saw when he went life and death with Chagaev. Never sold on Whyte either; He has skills and I like his personality but thought he lost to Chisora and he was hurt against Helenius. What I did notice was that HBO was hyping up Whyte, pretty obvious they decided to throw their lot in with Whyte (and Miller), and it seems Hearn wants Wilder to fight Whyte before he fights Joshua. I don't blame Hearn, he's supposed to make his fighters and himself money, but it will be interesting to see how all of these politics between promoters, fighters and networks plays out.

                • Yikes, Browne looked atrocious. Stacked on the weight, no movement...no anything really. Looked like absolute ****e compared to his training for Chagaev where he was trim with good movement and speed (in comparison to this fight). Old, fat and shot looking.

From memory, I think they don’t show replays when they’re working on a badly KOd fighter in case of injury.

                    • Two fighters that are nothing special but still a fun fight to watch and a brutal KO, nice combination by Whyte to end the fight. It is what it is, I enjoyed it.
