What a crazy coincidence! I visited my dentist today. And when I walked into the surgery I noticed a PC in the corner with Joe Rogan frozen in mid sentence on the monitor.

I pointed to it and asked him if he was an MMA fan. He said yes, MMA and boxing were his favourite sports. I told him that I was a boxing nut, and after my check-up was done we had a bit of a chat about the 2 sports.

During the conversation, he told me he'd lost £100 betting on Connor to beat Floyd. I couldn't help laughing, and I asked him if he was going to bet on Floyd beating Connor, if they have a rematch with MMA rules.

He then started trying to justify his pick .. but Connor is bigger, he's younger, he has all those KOs in the UFC, etc, etc. Floyd was 40, he was smaller, hadn't fought in 2 years, etc ..

I just sat there shaking my head and laughing till he gave up and told me he wished he'd asked my advice before putting that bet on.

Would you consider the Top 10 in the Pick'Em as 'hardcores' ?
