I was pretty neutral in all of this and 85% believed the contaminated meat story but wtf, that set of dog ******* canelo grew right where guys inject is pretty suspect

Records are fine and all, but this is a $20M+ payday, that he'll never get again and he and his team know that. At his age, it will be the last one he ever gets.

Is Hopkins record and $3M more important than fighting Canelo for $20M+? His team can say what they want, but it's hard to escape that reality.

I believe it's purely strategic to affect Canelo's pre-fight preparation and try to get the fans on his side.

If he doesn't fight Canelo than who's next? BJS isn't going to be ready to fight again until later in the year. That leaves a fight with Charlo, who is young and maybe more dangerous than Canelo. I don't see the upside of the fight getting cancelled.

I think Golovkin realizes he will lose the rematch and is desperately hoping they call it off because canelo ate at a mexican taco stand. Golovkin knows he is probably getting knocked out like Canelo said so he is laying the groundwork down for an excuse. This just shows that he fully believes Canelo when Canelo said he was knocking Grovelkin out. He wants to get out of this fight and run to a non puncher like Saunders. He's hoping atleast....

Firstly, Canelo lost the first fight handily as far as I’m concerned. He was walked down, while getting pummeled. Canelo has never had good stamina and was forced to his bike for most of the fight. Canelo fought intermittently at best, while ggg was consistently wearing and walking him down.

Let’s be realistic, the only reason Canelo got a sympathy draw is because he ***ing LOST !

Had he truly won, he would’ve walked away with some unanimous looking ridiculous score cards. Ggg has a very viable point, and I’m glad to hear he’s on his soapbox about it, cause these sanctioning bodies, powerful promoters are having their way in boxing right now and it needs to stop.

Why would GGG be concerned if "irreversible financial hardships" are done to GBP?

The same reason that if I legally owe you money that you're counting on, and I decide to not go to work an earn the very money I was suppose to pay you - I'm still on the hook for that and am liable for that.

In other words - if GGG decides to not fight in a bout that he is contractually bound to (for no reason), he will face a huuuuuuge penalty for doing so.
