You are acting like AJ is terrified of wilder coming in the ring or something. All he said was he prefers that theres an actual contract signed to fight before wilder steps in the ring. Like it was with klitschko, he never said please keep wilder out of the ring or anything. Wilder can still make his way into the ring if he pleases and make his empty threats.

Well, then it's specific to it being the 2nd fight which isn't a fair bet. I think it will happen next but wouldn't be surprised if it's one more fight in the interim. I am 100% convinced by New Years Eve it will have already happened or at the very least be signed, sealed and delivered to being the first fight of 2019.

did that encounter do anything to kill the buzz or interest of the fight?
