Pretty much everyone acknowledge that Joshua is not a PPV draw in the US and that he needs to face Wilder to even contemplate being one, but that does not remotely mean that he is not a known commodity worldwide because the entire world is not the UK and USA. Joshua's last fight was aired in over 150 countries according to Hearn, including RTL in Germany where Joshua v Takam got 2.73million views (published by RTL). That's close to 3 million germans watching a brit fight. How the **** does that happen if he's only a local star?!
Essentially to claim that Joshua at this stage is just a local commodity is showing nothing more than the stereotypical American ignorance to the world outside your own borders.
