Why are people acting like Joshua is a proven ppv draw??

Yea he sold on those UK ppv's but not on the world stage..He is still really unknown and if you put him on a national ppv broadcast he would do less then 100k...To be brutally honest Joshua-Wilder on ppv would not break 300k IMO neither are really known outside of hardcore fans and both sides are doing a horrible job as getting them known..iT IS TIME TO TAKE THESE 2 TO THE BIG STAGE AND STOP THIS LOCAL ****!!

If the fight will only draw 300k or less and struggle at the gate then they really should put this fight in England where it's guaranteed a gate of 90k even at inflated prices will probably do more PPV money there at local time of 9pm and the PPV sales here won't matter.

I think if it happens in their next fights it would probably do around 350k/400k but I do think if they both take a fight or two perhaps Joshua testing the waters here once it could crack 600-700k. The type of folks that liked to watch Heavyweight Boxing mostly stopped watching the sport but with four belts on the line, some marination and perhaps another big win each it could do fine.

Being selfish I'd just rather it be next.

AJ has had only 20 fights and is making massive money and drawing huge crowds. He is being marketed very well so far. The fight with Wilder should definitely be in England and maybe the return in the U.S., depending of course on how the first one turns out.

I don't get how Joshua's team is doing a bad job at getting him known. About to fight for his 3rd belt, selling out stadiums, $20mil a fight, named the most marketable sportsman on the planet. All in 20 fights.

America aint the world, just another market he'll soon be entering.

How many fighters are PPV 'on the World stage'?

Mayweather only had Pacquiao and Hatton on PPV over here iirc.

Joshua is a megastar in the UK, he is well known around the world now. My gfs brother was in thailand recently and he said Joshuas face is all over their sports shops and stuff.

I dont think anyone is claiming Joshua would be PPV in the US vs anyone other than Wilder, and even then you probably wouldnt see massive views
