Why ? he knows and has known for a long time that wilder will be there as hes working for sky for the fight...
AJ said no to him being in the ring after because their hasnt been a fight signed. Why should willder get to promote himself and the fight on AJ's show when he hasnt signed anything yetComment

If you do, i'm not surprised. You kind of lean to the side of black militant from what I've read from you. It's just that you're not as obvious and upfront about it as others are. But it's easy to see.Comment

Haymon takes a 1-2% commission, so he’s not exactly digging in Wilder’s pockets. I suspect Shelley Finkel and Jay Deas take significantly more.
But why is everyone bringing up what Wilder makes or what Joshua makes, etc.? That’s not Wilder’s point.
The statement should be kept in the context of what he was saying. Which was that Hearn is pulling the strings and is doing what benefits Hearn. Anthony Joshua is all of a sudden very interested in a rematch with Whyte? Yeah right. You think Joshua had designs to fight Miller? No, that’s Hearn. Just like Hearn is using Joshua as a carrot stick to get more money from HBO for the rest of the Matchroom stable.
So Wilder made that comment then said after, “if Joshua really wanted the fight...” He’s speaking to him being a puppet or a whore, whether you agree or not. And there are plenty of those who are highly-paid.
They want Wilder for Whyte.
Also, maybe AJ just understands what value it would bring to fight an american heavyweight on Showtime (in primetime) to the Wilder fight.Comment

It’s unlikely Joshua’s next fight is on Showtime if it’s not Wilder.Comment
