Hearn did something Ortiz couldn't do...had Wilder on the ropes and put him out. That was a great interview. He's right, though. Deontay is losing money with his current team. There's a great, old Larry Holmes quote, "I made more getting ripped off by Don King than I would've straight by any other promoter." I love Wilder, but didn't like his race bait comments. That puts people further apart when the objective is to come closer together. Not helping.

Cmon deontay, for being a heavyweight champion you're making miserable money, even Joseph Parker is getting paid more than your whole net worth combined for fighting Anthony Joshua. You can barely crack 2 million per fight, Eddie hearn is getting Joshua almost 15 million per fight..

Nice comeback by Hearn, not a fan of him but he gets his fighters what they want. And like Ishe smith said “Please come and milk me”, Wilder is trying to be the HW Mayweather with controversial comments but that ship as sailed. No one is paying attention or getting offended by his dumb comments. He thinks playing that role would help propelled him. But it only makes him look like an idiot, this same “White man” would make Wilder the highest payday of his career whenever he agrees to a Joshua deal.

Wilders too emotional at times and pops off without thought
