“If you look at the body, from the fight with me until the fight with Golovkin,” Smith said, “you know, the change in body types, the shape he’s gotten [in over] the course of 12, 14 months was unbelievable."

Liam might want to take a look in his own pond before he starts the well look at how his body changed. First here is Canelo's body for the Smith fight

here it is for the GGG fight

Now go take a look at a some UK fighters that have gotten far bigger and muscular as they got older or as they moved up weight classes prime examples Kell Brook and Anthony Joshua. More drastic how their bodies have changed Joshua from when he was amateur and Brook as he moved up to Middelweight. Yet Smith a former sparring partner of Brook defended him against PED accusations based on his body changes. And all I have heard from UK fighters and their fans is you can't make PED accusations by looking at the body to defend both Brook and Joshua. Canelo got bigger as he moved to Middleweight but no where as big or muscular as either guy.

Nothing he said is wrong here.
Canelo will now be forever looked at as a cheat.

I've never heard of a major fighter announcing they wanted a hair test or getting one to prove their innocence. Is this a legit practice and has it been done in sport?

there was testing last fight and there was no positive. I dont see why he would cheat now when he proved he can hang with GGG and GGG is only getting older. (I think Canelo lost the first fight 7-5)

I don't want to hear shyt from these 2 faked UK fighters that have protected their own when their bodies have changed like this

                Joshua as amateur

                a few years later

Liam was in camp with Brook when over just a few months his body changed drastically for the GGG fight

I accept the real possibility that Alvarez may be juicing. But I also am not a hater. The actual letter that was published with the failed tests- which Dan Rapheal of ESPN posted an image of on the website... SPECIFICALLY said that the "trace amounts" of the failed test was 100% consistent with tainted beef. Period. Their words, not Alvarez, not his teams, theirs. There is an investigation, what that means I have zero idea. I hope that means more stringent testing- maybe hair follicles?- to get a better idea. If he is cheating, I hope he gets caught and I hope Trip G cancels the fight. But despite how much the gossiping public wants to destroy public figures as soon as possible, Alvarez has never failed anything before in spite all his testing. He and his team are not associated with any known performance enhancing drug investigations, and tainted beef is a known problem in Mexico. Is it going to kill everyone to give him the benefit of the doubt unless more damning evidence comes out?
don't you see the way he packed on muscle?

You're right on the first one but you can't compare Brook's body. One picture is from a weigh in, totally dehydrated and flat... The other picture is while bulking, one month before a fight. Get a clue.
