I like Winky but seriously, Taylor just beat one of the all-time greats in Hopkins twice. And now he has got Emanual in his corner. Winky is getting KO'd all day long by this kid who just so happens to be in his prime.

KO in 8. Taylor will be relentless, you'll see. If Winky likes to cover up, that will suit Taylor, he'll just keep pounding away.

Vargas beat winky and he couldn't do **** in the championship rounds. winky COULDN'T beat a young fernando vargas and vargas till kicked his ass and dominated the championship rounds. Delahoya would ko winky as he did to vargas. winky is over-rated! by all his bandwagon jumpers.

Vargas didn't give him a rematch cuz the fight with Ike Quartey was already dated and ultimately he had his sights on Trinidad and Delahoya at the time.

Were you trying to show me something with that 10/11/12th round? Vargas was being dominated in the early rounds, he almost never landed anything clean and basically looked confused for most of the fight as Winky CONTINUALLY kept his gaurd up.

In those rounds you showed me ( i have the whole fight ) Vargas looked busier in the 10th, landed some shots and threw ALOT of punches. But in the 11th, at one point Vargas was going back after winky landed i think 3 or 4 punches in a row, Vargas had no answer for his defense, and no matter what he was still getting tagged with Jabs.

In the 12th, Vargas went a little busier but he neverlanded anything clean and was throwing arm punches while Winky continually landed that jab. If anything that round was even because its not like Wright pressed the issue much, but Vargas didint do much neither.

What you showed me is what many experts believe to begin with and thats Wright was robbed in that fight. Ive seen that fight 3 times now, each time Vargas loses.


Maybe you dont see it..because of course Vargas is mexican and you favor Mexicans over ANYBODY in...ANY SITUATION. (See Antonio Margarito, the now ring magazine #2 Welterweight). But Vargas lost the fight. He may have the desicion, but he was an up and comer, young and being highly promoted. So the circumstances i can understand...but Wright never looked hurt, he kept the jab up, and Vargas couldnt do much about it other than be ineffectively aggressive. Notice how Vargas never gave him a rematch. There is no Winky bandwagon. Vargas lost.

He couldn't KO joppy or hopkins what makes you think he will KO winky? Winky is a gorilla, built solid, he's not a twig and he has been in with good competition most of his career he knows how to win. so why all of a suddin will he get KOed when taylor hasn't KOed anyone recently? I just hope it's a good fight i wanted Winky vs Hopkins but that fell threw.... all i want is for winky to get his due respects he's a good fighter and isn't a punk ***** like some fighters these days, all they do is talk **** and have no back up. winky comes to fight hard everytime you have to respect that kind of commitment.
