If they had a rematch now it would be too easy for winky.... vargas was having problems with shane. Vargas was a great warrior but i think his management team hurt a fighter that could be in his prime now.....He could have been that much greater if they didn't rush him into tough fight after tough fight.....Plus i think tito was a little biatch when he fough varags he knew he was getting whipped then he started throwing low blows which killed varaga's movment..... and eventaully he got caught such a shame. I always hear rumours that Tito Wrapped his hands way to tight which would give him and obvious power adavntage...Joppy and hopkins talked about it i think....

It was not the "tightness of the wrapping" it was the form of wrapping. And B-hop stated that it was a "tactic" of his to throw Tito off. It was not significant, and those who have spoken about the hand wrapping have stated that hand wrapping does not play a significant role at all.

trinidad would be harder for taylor then winky, i think trinidad could knock taylor out, he throws sharp poweful short punches and i dont think taylor would box him i think he would fight him, and even wwhen taylor boxes he has too many openings, if he wasnt so fast he would still be an amatuer

Winky is a fighter and shows his ego in simple ways instead of causing a seen.

Winky is the same fighter that for years and any chance he got would say how fighters are ducking him, yet when he is the world champion he ducks kassim ouma.

and no winky couldn't defeat a prime trinidad, not with his gloves on his face. delahoya defeated trinidad but delahoya had power and skills. winky only has skills. the boxer that i'd compare to winky is oba carr and trinidad knocked him out, when other felt that carr had a great chance of defeating trinidad.
LOL sorry bro your really reaching for this one..... man just smoke a J and come back to the post when your thinking a little more cool headed. Winky has respected almost everyone he has fought... it's boxing for **** sakes! do they have to be friends? look at Vargas dood has attitude to spare, yet your not saying **** about him? you just don't like him you have no "real" reason.... which is fine but don't start looking for things that aren't there bro...

Wright did duck Ouma (though it hardly matters now), but can you blame him? Wright was ducked for years. He's called De La Hoya out since 2002, and DLH never even responded. He couldn't get Vargas to rematch him. Basically, Mosley gave him a chance, and Wright capitalized. Wright is on the edge of retirement here. He made it clear after the first Mosley fight he only wanted big names and then retirement. I think in March of 04 when he defeated Mosley he says RIGHT AFTERWARDS he wants Mosley again, Trinidad, and De La Hoya, then retirement. He got two of those and now he's going for Taylor. If he loses, he will retire. If he wins, he'll fight Calzaghe and retire. But Wright is not gonna waste his time on small names anymore. Sam Soliman was strictly a tuneup as he waited for the winner of Hopkins-Taylor II. And Wright was trying to get DLH in the fall of 05 anyway, but DLH signed to fight Mayorga like a pansy. I've wanted to see Wright-De La Hoya for years. I'd pull for Wright in that one, but now Wright's stuck with fighting Taylor, who I think will win this one. But don't say **** about Winky ducking or getting an attitude because he's had this goal for YEARS. It's just nobody paid attention to him.

Delahoya would have kicked winkys ass!

You just look the other way about Winky DUCKING OUMA! But you are quick to point out false statements that delahoya ducked winky. Winky is a *****! Why? Cause he always has complained about how fighters ducked him, but when he gets a title , he then has a mandatory, he now brings in money as a champion and he then ducks kassim ouma for an eaier fight with mosley whom he already had dominated, **** winky!

Delahoya has always had fights lined up as he did one after another facing top fighters, he had plans of facing winky but guess what happpend? They robbed him against Mosley, so he goes on with his career. While winky has a mandatory to face the number 1 contender who is very well respected by the boxing media and the boxing fans. Instead winky goes in for the easier fight with mosley, leaving ouma shut out in the dark... out of a big money fight and out of a lot of exposure and most importantly out of a title shot. So **** winky!

Winky ducked Ouma and thats a fact!

Well, Ouma got his belt when Wright forfeitted it. I think Ouma-Wright would have been a great fight, but Ouma became the champ anyway.
