And Weeks key Maidana get away with some dirty ****. Each ref has their own style. You may not like his style but you can't deny he's the best in the business when it comes to what being the 3rd man in the ring is all about.

Name a fight he was a part of that ended in controversy due to him stopping it to early/late or allowing it to get out of hand

My vote goes to Steve Smoger because he allows the fighters to fight without so much as interjecting himself in the middle of the action in order be to noticed or seen by the live audience or the television cameras.

how is he a good ref though? he doesn't enforce certain rules when it benefits certain guys. thats the opposite of good. that is bad. it seems like you are saying he's a hof ref simply because he's been around a long time and done a lot of big fights but the ironic thing is hes been around a long time and done a lot of big fights because he is bad and he lacks the balls to enforce the rules. they know he will stand there and let a guy clinch the entire fight. hey get kenny!

I actually really like Tony Weeks a lot. He's very good, neutral and consistent. Was extremely surprised at the way he handled low blows in the Ward-Kov2. He was doing a really great job keeping that fight clean until 7th/8th. I watched those rounds several times over specifically because I respect Weeks and I was wondering wtf he was seeing.

                  Willis is pretty funny though.

he did the same thing in garcia-mattyhsse. i've seen him "mess up" over and over. its why he still gets work. if he had punished ward for all the holding and low blows he's out of a job or working a 4 rounder in kentucky. it pays to suck
