I can tell you why in those clips what happened. Roy threw his hook from the blind side with his opponent slightly off balance. He was also much closer. The opponent didn't see the punch coming. Wilder threw his punches in full view of his opponent while he was much further away. The guy was looking directly at him and in a position to easily avoid the punches.Comment

I called him a newbie because he didn't box from a young age. It's like football (soccer). Very rarely will a top player not have started at age 5 or 6. You can tell the way they move.Comment
