Boxing is attitude. Ali had attitude. Both Sugar Ray Robinson and Sugar Ray Leonard had it. Hagler, Duran, Wally freaking Pipp had it. Boxing is a self motivated, one on one war of wills. It takes an athlete who fires himself up everyday and focuses in a manner most of us cannot fathom. While any athlete on a professional level that is true, it is more so of any sport where it is you alone. When things are going badly, it takes a man of extreme confidence to keep going out after it when there is no team mate to help pick you up or cover your mistakes. It is one of the things that I respect the most out of boxing.
I tend not swing off anyone's nuts, as that just seems like it would hurt. I do not wager money or invest in boxers so I honestly am fine with being wrong, as the current status of my NCAA tournament bracket will prove. I also am on this site not to prove my self worth but because I love this sport and I like talking and debating it. It is fun. I love what I see in Prograis. I think he is entering his prime, is technically sound, and brings a Tyson-like attitude of "I can't be beat" that all the greats have. Ramirez is good. I like what I saw. But he does not have the same power or stalking bad intentions I saw in Prograis.
I also obviously do not mind if you do swing off anyone's testicles. More power to you. I also like your points on Ramirez. If you are right, when they fight I will admit it. But seriously... Attitude being a part of boxing is the dumbest thing you have heard? Big Stomps, get out more.
